Anybody know what the record is for the most number of different teams in the top flight that a player has played for? Collymore must be on for it - Liverpool, Villa, Leicester, Forest, Bradford, Crystal Palace...and that excludes Fulham and Wolves.

Christian Vieri changes every season. I don't know how many he has played for but in the last 5 years it has been Juve Athletico Madrid Lazio Inter Milan and has been injured for 6mnths

Carlton Palmer has been more more places than a whore's drawers.

Not a patch on Collymore though, surely. Wednesday, Leeds, Southampton and now Coventry. Gazza might be close...Newcastle, Spurs, Lazio, Rangers, Middlesborough, Everton. Any other offers? Vieri's a good one, but I was thinking more of British players.

Hughes - Man United, Barca, Chelsea, Southampton, Everton, Blackburn...

Love that whore's drawers analogy, a particularly well travelled whore I take it.

I think Hughes played a few games for Bayern Munich too. But Blackburn obviously doesn't count, not being in the top division. Any one been at more than six?

Palmer - Leeds, Wednesday, Forest, Southampton, Coventry and West Bromich Albion. I know they have had various top flight records but still seven clubs!
