Plane carrying 15 passengers makes emergency landing in Toronto

TORONTO (CP) - A plane carrying 15 passengers made an emergency landing Wednesday morning after reports of smoke in the cabin. The Canadian Regional Airlines F-28 declared an emergency at about 7 a.m.

The pilot told air traffic control that there was the possibility of smoke on board the aircraft.

The jet touched down safely at Pearson International Airport and there were no injuries.

Fire crews checked out the plane and said there was no sign of fire or smoke.
