Nobody can help me on the last question I had? (philosophical influences) Well could anybody tell me the theme or meaning of "King Pest"? The only thing that I can get from the story is that in times of trials like in the story with the plague, people's minds can get into a state of confusion and start to go crazy. So, Poe is showing what can happen in that situation, right?
