DAILY TOON COMPETITIONS - Top five after ten matches.greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread |
DAILY TOON PREDICTOONS & ROUTE 66 COMPETITIONS OK. so we have now reached the tenth game of the season and this is how the top five of each of the two DAILY TOON competitions are currently standing.
As you will see, no one is taking a massive lead in either competition and with so many points on offer in each, anyone joining in now can be in among the leaders with just a couple of all correct predictions.
As an example, in the Route 66 competition, Rik is sitting in second place, yet he has only taken part in, and guessed five of the ten games.
In the Predictoons competition, the maximum points available (inc the bonus) for an all-correct prediction is 15 points. The leader is only on 28, so two all-correct predictions and you could be up there among the leading group.
It just goes to show that it is never too late to join in.
The two tables are:
ROUTE 66
Gus 93 Rik 77 Geordie 76 ITK 63 Tony Green Jnr 57
As a further example for the Predictoons Competition, Pete in Canada has entered a prediction for all ten game so far, but he has drawn a blank in six of them, yet one all correct prediction against the Smoggies the other night got him 15 points and fourth place on the leader board.
ITK 28 Scratchy 26 Gus 22 Pete in Canada 21 Mrs ITK 20 Go on, why not have a go. Watch out in the for the thread for next weeks match against West Ham and have a goit costs nowt and all you have to do is post your guess on the board and it is automatically entered.
As I wont be around the PC for a couple of days in the middle of the week, the West Ham thread will probably be posted on Monday night, so you will have plenty of time to enter before Saturday.
GOOD LUCK

As an example, in the Route 66 competition, Rik is sitting in second place, yet he has only taken part in, and guessed five of the ten games. I was giving you lads a chance, but seeing as you are all crap I think I'll go in for the kill and claim the prize for myself.

As Rik insisted on answering a 'Do Not Read' thread...I might as well take the bold off!

OK why does the bold not want to come off?
