Alyssa,

Who is buried in Poes grave?

Presuming this is a serious question, the answer can be confirmed by visiting the Edgar Allan Poe Society of Baltimore web site at http://www.eapoe.org. Originally, Edgar Poe was buried in the Presbyterian Church cemetery in the family burial lot of his grandfather, General David Poe. In November of 1875, his remains were moved to the southeastern corner of the cemetery and a monument was dedicated to him with the names of those buried with him. The remains of his wife, Virginia Eliza Clemm Poe, was moved from New York and interned next to Poe and those of her mother Maria Poe Clemm. Today, the cemetery is known as the Westminster Burial Grounds.

What is the statue sitting by the window in his room?

What statue, which window and what room?

What is the name of Poes son?

Edgar Allan Poe and his wife, Virginia Eliza Clemm Poe had no children and Edgar Poe died in 1849, childless.

Where did Poe compose The Raven?

The poem The Raven is thought to have been composed throughout the latter part of 1844, most likely while Poe lived in New York. It was first printed in the Evening Mirror in January of 1845.

Regards,
