Bush or Gore? Who would be better to have on a relay team?

Who would be better to have on an O' relay team -- Bush or Gore? Some info (from Runners World) to consider:

Gore -- Weekly mileage of "20 miles, or more if his schedule allows," does some weight lifting, marathon PR (1997) 4:59:25.

Bush -- Weekly mileage of "15 to 20; usually 3 to 4 miles, 4 days a week," uses a treadmill and elliptical trainer, and lifts weights, marathon PR (1993) 3:44:52.

Choosing between these two for the OK relay team would have to look at far more than just their running. Do either of them have what it takes to run on an OK relay team? Do their political views hint at their O' abilities? If either of them turned an ankle, would their "running mate" be able to replace them?

Depends on the schedule. Normally the Relay Champs is on a Sunday, but it doesn't have to be. If it were scheduled for a Saturday, you'd have to take into account the Lieberman wouldn't run.

Nice to know that I have a better marathon PR than either of these guys, though it's a bit surprising that they have both done one. Any word on the PRs for Nader, Buchanan, Browne, etc.?

If Nader ran and got behind, he won't use a Ford Pinto to cheat; Buchanan might have a chariot of fire. . .
