My Academic English Class has been doing reasearch on this for some time and we have concluded the following answers/theorys.

As many know poe was a very "unlucky" individuel having many things happen in his life time that would take most people 3. Some think he went insane, some think he had rabies, others a brain turmor. He was a man that enjoyed his alcohol, but he also was one of those who had one drink and has on the floor pucking up dinner. I personally think he killed himself by drinking to much, and putting himself in a comma. My Professor has recently found info saying he was found in a ditch in boston beaten to death. Which is very likely because Poe was accused several times of multi-voting to get money. I firmly believe in this idea... People back in the early to mid 19th century were payed off on there vote. So Poe having money management problems, probley did this and got his @$$ kicked by the opposite party. Many people think different things, but for sure is a question that will always remain. For more info. go to the Poe museam in Boston, there is much info there.

And to end my passage a quote from "The Cask of Armontillado". "In pace requiescat!" (may he rest in peace)
