Norway: Water sells out in Oslo

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Grassroots Information Coordination Center (GICC) : One Thread

Bottled water was selling like hotcakes in
Oslo as a water pollution scare left about
half of the capital's population needing to
boil water before it can be used. Stores
around Oslo were sold out.

One grocery chain outlet reported sales of
650 liters of one brand of water in two
days, compared to 29 liters at the same time
the year before.
