SF: BART service halted due to electrical outage

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- An electrical
outage on the Bay Area Rapid Transit
system stopped service between San
Francisco and Oakland for more than two
hours Thursday and closed three
downtown San Francisco stations.

. . .

Power went out at those two stations and
through the transbay tunnel. One train,
carrying a few hundred people, was stuck
in the tube under San Francisco Bay for
about 10 minutes. The train continued to
Fremont after power was restored.
