Ketsbaia - What's Up Shaun Morrow 19/10/2000

The Wolves career of Temuri Ketsbaia seems to be under a cloud after he was not in the squad for the albion game on Tuesday. The Georgian international is said to be extremely unhappy about the situation

So why is Ketsbaia out of favour, I have received info from several reliable sources as to the cause of the problem

1. Colin Lee did not want to sign Ketsbaia, it was chief exective Jez Moxey's decision to calm the Wolves fans down after we had sold Ade Akinbiyi. Moxey felt a big name signing would be good for PR

2. Ketsbaia is perceived as lazy by most of the Wolves squad and Colin lee. Lee said in the Express & Star "It might have been different if Temuri had set things alight when he went on for the last ten minutes at Bolton, but I don't think he did. Now, we would like to see him pushing hard and forcing himself to be picked."

3. After the Bolton game it was reported he travelled back alone, is that good for team morale ?

So where is the fault, is it with Ketsbaia's attitude towards Wolves and his team-mates or should Colin Lee be more of a motivator to ALL of his squad

We will see on saturday

I think Kets has always been lazy!! Isnt it just fantastic though, every player that Wor Bobby has sold has been a disaster at their new club. Bobby is a god and soon we will have a squad that can challenge for honours and die for the cause. Hail Bobby!!!

It is somewhat gratifying to see them all fail - even though I don't like to see decent blokes getting injured. However, it also helps explain just why we've been so crap over the last couple of seasons.
