and as you'll be reading this, how's the little one doing now?

The little'un is fine thanks. He's sleeping through from 12.30 to 8.30 now which is almost perfect. Little bugger has noticed that screaming turns his light on however, so he knows what to do when he's bored and can't see. He smiles at me now which is terrific, and finds that being bounced on the knee to The Blaydon Races is about as much fun as you can have without having to fill your nappy.

Only real problem is that the cats are intent on bringing him food....probably trying to help his fur grow. Every time I open the front door I'm greeted by a scene from silence of the lambs and a wowling feline expecting a stroke and a tickle under the chin. Lovely animals, but the terror of the hedgerows.

Great to hear Bobby the youngest is doing well. I do hope you meant he's sleeping 1230 at night to 830 in the morning. Wouldn't be much fun if it were the other way round.

You'll want to get him off the cat food, though. Next thing he'll be sitting around licking his privates and drinking out of the toilet bowl. ;-)))

Ciara,

So why should he be any different from your average toon fan?

Hey Sand Dancer, everything okay? I gather Turin is under water or some such. You coping alright?

yeh - keeping our heads above the water, you know.

This side of the city is elevated and thus relatively unscathed - not so the other side of the river where lives were lost.

But fair play to the wops, the Juve/Bari water-polo match went ahead. Italian diving took on a new meaning.

Ta for your concern.
