Night scene

hi i wonder what is NIGHT SCENE in canon eos 300 ?? can i use the function of it in my eos 50? sdince it has bmno such button...then what other methos i can counter it? thansk

As I understand it, night scene mode is about the same as P mode except the shutter is allowed to go very slow if the scene is dark. In P (or the green box) mode the shutter is restricted to 1/60 or 1/90 sec. You can duplicate the effect on your 50 (or the 300 for that matter) by using Av mode and using the widest aperture that your lens has.

This is another worthless PIC mode once you learn how to set your camera.
