I wont read you the whole article on the back page of this apper , just the 2 last paragraphs .... The playing season saw match income decrease , due to fewer FA and Worthington cup matches and sponsorship revenue falling . During this time the club weredesperately paying out more money to acquire evn more players . The bitter truth is that Newcastle remain a club tied to their roots , unable to reach the global markets Manchester United have so wonderfully exploited ... aaarrrghhhhhh , ptuh ptuh ptuh ptuh ... MR Mihir Bose will accept all your letters im sure ! This sh1t makes me sick .. global audience , stuck to our roots ... bloody right mate and long may it continue . Tosser .

The real problem is the sub-text, which of course the Tory graph will not mention. A little while back the Grauniad called us "the most old-fashioned of clubs". Same sub-text. We have a huge local support, which is counter to what both of those rags want to see - they write what they think their readers will want to read. The Tory- graph still equates a football club that has massive local support as a "working class" club, and all that that means to them. Scared of that! The Grauniad has the idea that football should "progress" to be supported by a bunch of ponces. Hello Rodney, Hello Charles. Jolly fine afternoon for a game of 'soccer'. Neither paper understands, in the least, why the Geordie nation exists, nor why it continues. Nor why Alan Shearer should give the finger, twice, to manure and play for HIS team. Nor do they understand YBR. Silly idiots scribbling drivel. The only thing that I wonder at Sting is why a sensible Geordie lad like you should even bother to read it!

When its shoved in your face by an equally irate Chelsea lad you tend to take notice Sounder .

What a load of cack. I reckon there must be 1 in 5 Ersatz Geordies in SJP. I can hit half a dozen fellow adopted Geordies with a wiffle bat from my seat alone. The real question is why this tosser who has not left the leafy surroundings of Buckinghamshire feels he knows anything about a city he's never visited.

Bose has written several books, a couple of which explore the Man United phenomenon in a manner that is fairly critical... mainly to extent that Man U's local support may become so annoyed that they will stop going and when the gravy train stops, they'll be f...d.

Yes, I see Sting. Was he irate because he thought it was rubbish as well?
