The advanced course maps will probably be printed at 1:7,500. The beginner course maps will be at 1:5,000.

Printing the advanced maps at a smaller scale will let me put two maps on a single 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. Since the maps will be color copies, this will save a good bit of money.

Who wants to be a champeen?

Who will take up the clarion call and grab the title? There will only ever be one First Unofficial Kansas State Orienteering Championship. You don't want want to be looking back 10, 20, or even 50 years from now wondering what if?
