ATI AIW128 - really made me sick and puke ! (not recognize NTSC4.43/NTPB system)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

Hi, I hope someone can help me on how to solve my problem on this card.

It plays well if it's pure NTSC / PAL.

But when I played VHS with NTPB/NTSC 4.43 system, the card recognize it as nothing ! If in either NTSC or NTSC-J system, it plays Black and White with so many diagonal lines...can not do anything w/ the color.

Then if I choose in PAL system, it has color but the movie, going up and down severely approx 10 shaking in a second.. like someone's riding a horse !

Well, I just hope someone ever had this problem but then could fix it, then kindly tell me on how to do with this card.

Thank you very much.

Regards, Sunar.

AIW 128 is either PAL or NTSC. This applies to the capture feature of the card

Playing a video file is a different thing, and the card can play any standard, even the "unpure" ones.

you can download new driver and multimedia centre 7.1 at www.ati.com. I don't know it will help or not but you can try it because the new driver will open GL.
