Does the DVC II put sequence headers between every GOP?

If not, does anyone know how long it takes to remux a split file (after running it through another program for inserting seq. headers)? Is this faster than simply encoding an mpeg from an AVI?

no dazzle dvc 2 does not. and to demux and remux an mpg only takes a few minutes.
