Hello

I was wondering why i capture a 10min AVI file, then convert it to MPEG VCD with TMPGenc convertor, the length of the file goes from 10min to around 30min. so that means i can only really fit around 25min of AVI onto a CD when i convert it with TMPGenc with constant piture quailty at 352*288 PAL.

Why is this so Thanks for any help

Ralph -- When you encoded the clip, what was the bitrate set to? This could be why it grew. You want it to be 1150, which conforms to mpeg 1 VCD specs. Perhaps try loading the vcd[pal] template in TMPGenc and re-encode it to see if it grows again.
