United played a behind closed doors friendly match today against Hartlepool, with a brace from Lua Lua, and one each from David McMahon, Stuart Green and Pedro Debas* securing victory.

United fielded the following side: Karelse, Hamilton, Bernard, Kerr, Caldwell G, Beharall, Green, Glass, Ameobi, Lua Lua, Debas.

Subs: McMahon for Ameobi half time, Grindlay for Karelse, late in second half.

* Pedro Debas is a young Portuguese lad who has been on trial with us for a few weeks. We haven't managed to confirm either his present club or the spelling of his surname.
