Cos I don't give a toss about any of it.....

So everyone, how'd your weekends go? according to plan or any hiccups? wasn't it a bloody miserable weekend weatherwise?

Any London based people interested in watching the Boro match next weekend? just a suggestion.....

W/E was fine achieved all I wanted to which wasn't a lot! went up th driving range for the first time in a few weeks and hit the ball excellently. Was going to go to Milton Keynes Dogs on Sat night but mates pulled out!

No Great North Run training done so it's a hard week ahead. Northampton Sinast lost the rugby to some French side who sound more like a non-alcoholic drink than a rugby team, but hey never mind.

Good chilled weekend really!

went up to Northland and sat on beaches, soaking up the sun. Drove around, stayed at some lovely places and decided on scuba-diving as a future sport now my football career's been cruelly ended [i blame Screacher].

Vivid dreams of scoring the inner for us in the FA Cup final against the Makems and Johnny Marr begging me to play guitar in his band.

Weatherwise, glad i'm not in the UK by all accounts...

'kinell Min you sound like me. Scuba diving and guitar are two of my hobbies. Only difference is I had to give up football due to lack of talent (and age). Even I can't blame Screach for that one!

Pilgrim,

don't get me wrong - i've hardly got talent of Gazza proportions [many will vouch for that], nor am i likely to get that call from JM, but bloody hell were they vivid dreams. You know the ones where you really don't want to wake up...? It's obviously missing matches and not having a guitar [yet] that's doing this to me...

I bought the wife flowers on Saturday after golf! This is an extremely rare occurence but was necessary after the state I was in on Friday evening :-((

Had my best golf of the year (14 pars, 2 birdies, 1 bogie and 1 double b). Sadly I screwed up the medal on the Sunday by shanking twice ... cost me 4 shots. Still came in with a 79 nett 71.

Went to Stonehenge on Sunday afternoon as my lad was doing a project on it for school. If you ever have an afternoon spare to visit this ancient site I would thoroughly recommend that you did something else!

min, can you export some of that sunshine - it's bliddy freezing here!

Saturday it p*ssed down all day, went to the pub to watch the game and saw Susie Broon Ale who was up for the weekend. Sunday - attempted to catch up on the housework around hubby and son who were building a set of very large speakers in the middle of the (not very big) kitchen!

Steph - the sun and warm weather here's probably got more to do with that whacking great hole in the ozone right above our heeds...can't promise anything. Who was it who said his ideal place to live was to cut out Tyneside with a giant chain-saw and float it off the coast of Florida?

I think this is what happens when you get an international match - people build speakers in the kitchen and everything goes quiet. Roll on next Monday night, that's what i say.

One of the worst weekends for a long time................only lightened by England's second half performance. Now, where did I out that gun?

Pretty successful. 6 hour drive up to Newcastle, out to the Quayside and that new tapas bar for me mate's 30th and back again yesterday night for a curry and lager fest.

Gav, you mean watch the game in London? If so you're more than welcome to sample the ambient delights of the 'lucky' PoW in Hillingdon. Current record there is approx. played 8, won 7, lost 1, scored - loads, let in - not many.

Watched a stonking Grand Prix and celebrated my favourite driver winning a World Championship for those feckless Italians. Good to see him delay the podium tosh while he personally thanked every member of the team for helping him win. The arrogant bastard later told interviewers how it was all down to Ross Brawn's thinking and the professionalism of the pit-crew. Also a pleasure to see Mika Hakkinen displaying such grace and good humour in defeat - no chance that the footballing fraternity will have taken notice.

Relatively quiet weekend...which is a VERY good thing after the previous one! Talked to the lawyer on Friday, went to the tow lot to retrieve the rest of my things from my car and take photos of the damage. Much worse than I remembered it at the time. I half-considered snipping off the seatbelt that saved my life as a souvenir. ;-)

Fri evening a friend came round, had a few beers down on the waterfront watching the ducks get annoyed waiting for us to produce food, then out to dinner. Saturday and Sunday were mostly spent alternating between a bit more unpacking and a lot of time spent on the heating pad when my back and neck complained bitterly about the lifting/bending/stretching. Oh...and continuing to curse out the barsteward who did this to me. :-)

Just got back from a very wet day out with my husband, who has decided to take a week off work for the first time in four years. Very worrying - I think he must be feeling the strain a bit!

Anyway - weekend was good. Horrible four and a half hour drive up to Coventry on Saturday - combination of horrible weather and two bad accidents (not involving me). Successful days showing - best placings with Mrs. Miggins yet! Out for dinner in the evening.

Sunday - `paperwork` - yuck! Whilst half listening to the Grand Prix.

BTW - Geordie, Stonehenge? Fully agree with your sentiments - I think you have to be a Druid or something to appreciate it!(:o)
