Does anyone else find it strange.......

That 18 months ago, when KK was part time England coach and in charge at Fulham it was said that you can't do both jobs and that because of 'FAN POWER' and of course the eventual good grace (not) of that bloodsucking leach Fayed he left the Cottage and took on England full time. The papers expounded at the time that the fans had got the man they wanted and that he was the perfect person for the job. Reading those same papers today, and trawling through a lot of club bulletin boards etc isn't it amazing how many of them now say that they knew from the start that he was the wrong person and he shouldn't have got the job........frigging double standards or what. Alright, I will conceed that his timing was absolute shit and he should have either done it after Euro 2000 or as it had gone this far do it on Thursday when they get back from Finland, but the bottom line is, in my view it takes a bloody big and brave man to stand there and say the things he did about himself. Alright he was talking about himself in the third person at times, but that wa sprobably the only way he could get through something like that. You are a braver man than I Gungadin......and you are still

I reckon this is all a bit impulsive and KK has mad that decision in the aftermath of his mum dying a fortnight ago. he needs to be booed by 100,000 arseholes at wembley after that?

What's more worrying is how Howard 'Mr Poisonality' Wilkinson is going to have any more success with the seniors than he has had with the U21s, even if it's just for one game.

They'd have been better off imo, asking Bobby to help out on a one off basis, just for the Finland game.

Or is qualifyling for the world cup not worth worrying about ?

And I'll be interested to see how many of the walking wounded manage to recover in time for Wednesday. I'll bet those that don't will have miraculous recoveries by Saturday.

He may be "bloody big and brave"...but the man is a loser. Always has been and probably always will be. He spat his dummy with Englans as a player...said he'd never play again...he spat his dummy as a manager TWICE with NUFC....he said he'd never step foot inside SJP again..he said he'd NEVER leave Fulham...he said he's have to be dragged screaming from the England job!!!!! He's cak....nice men don't win...and I'm not saying KK's nice BTW....he's a liar. Good riddance to bad cak.

You just concentrate on your former Chief Exec and Ron 'give him the eyebrows' Atkinson being investigated because of match location fixing bungs.

Something else that gave me pause for thought was that Keegan was given the say on what strip was worn on Saturday and the silly sod put extra pressure on trying to repeat 1966 wearing the red we wore then. Imo, he should have made the Jormans wear the change strip.

On second thoughts, it wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference what strip they wore - they just didn't have it on the day.

Playing bollock naked might have been a more useful ploy - the Germans may have become blinded by tears of laughter.
