GRAND RONDE, Ore. (AP) -- Faucets in about 90 homes have been dry for a week after the reservoir serving the area began to leak.

The Rock Creek Water District system was automatically shut down Friday. Crews believe they have isolated the break, and say water could be running within a few days.

About 400 people have been without water since last Wednesday.

They have been forced to fill buckets with water at a local gas station and have been using a portable toilet.
