The Best of the Best

greenspun.com : LUSENET : People Photography : One Thread

I teach in public school. I'm not working in the summer. I spend many hours on the photo forums in the summer...NOT when school begins. Just recently I took some time to get back to the forums.

Shawn...this IS the best! Thanks for creating it.

Hope teaching is going well, Todd. And thanks. But if this site is working, it's cuz I keep my nose out, and cuz the quality of the posters is a cut above.

If anything, I should be thanking y'all for putting up with me!!!

ciao for now, shawn

I have to second what Todd said. This forum is evolving into a beautiful and substantial collection of work from a diverse group of artists. I wish there was a better way to index the photography, though.

What do you mean by 'index' Tony? I went hog-wild on the categories, but I think things can be moved around to a more logical categor- ization(?). Lemme know.

I mean beyond the capabilities of the greenspun.com software, which was not designed to showcase an eclectic collection of photography in the first place. But this forum does, and acceptably so. And your categories work just fine, but the image collection is growing and it's getting difficult and time consuming to find specific ones. A thumbnail page would be nice, or a search function, or maybe a key-word search, list by photographer, etc. This software is certainly much better than nothing, though, and I'm thankful.
