salt free bread recipes : LUSENET : FAQ : One Thread

I need to make some saltfree bread. Does anyone have recipes or can anyone give me advice about how to vary the yeast and sugar when not using salt? Thank you (time is of the essence)

I am also experimenting with salt free bread (High blood pressure!!}. The thing is it just doesn't taste the same. To input a bit of extra taste, try adding lightly fried onion to your dough. I first ate this in Germany, and made it in a traditional wood fired oven (with salt) and it is really out of this world!!! Granary bread made from a good malted flour is the best I have found so far without salt in.
