Are birthday wishes and congratulations in order macbeth? If so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and welcome to the OFB (Old Farts Brigade)!!!

AS you pointed out yesterday, I am prone to "illogical conclusions". I 'll risk another one: is it your birthday today? If so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! "Age cannot whither nor custom stale [your] infinite variety". (That Shakepeare lad always has a word for the occasion).

Macbeth, It's been a long 15 months since it happened to me. Tell you what, it's horrible being over 40.

Hair starts migrating from your head to your nose, gravity causes the middle section of your body to expand and worst of all good lookin lasses don't give you a second glance.

Welcome to the middle aged club.

Give it twenty years and you'll know how I feel. Happy borthday anyway, bonny lad.

At least in twenty years time the totty will stop considering you a threat to whatever it is they hold dear. :-))

Happy birthday, Macca. 40 is a milestone, but don't let it become a millstone...that's a crap line, ain't it...get very pissed and sing yer heart out for the lads :-))

October is a huge birthday month for me. Next week it's (in order) my best man, ex-housemate, me, best man's missus, good mate Tim (came to Regent's Park footie) and another old friend. All this within 14 days!

Happy Birthday....remember, it's a game of two halves, life (hmmm..not quite up to Shakespeare that comment, was it). Personally I'm looking forward to being 40 in a lot of ways (still five years to go) - should have a lot more free time (or is that a myth?)

Don't listen to them Macbeth, half time is not until 45 is up, even then there may be someone holding up a board with extra time!!!

Get any decent pressies?

Happy birthday old chap, you seem to be catching me up quicker than the others!!
