Another big thanks to Al for turning up with Rob Lee yesterday for turning out for an 'all stars' team at David Hirsts testimonial game at Hillsboro'. The crowd showed their appreciation with a standing ovation.

Chris Woods- John Beresford- John Barnes- Ian wright- prince Naseem-(Chris Waddle made him look a right pratt, as he did with most) Gazza was supposed to play as was Les Ferdinand but both got injured on saturday. Geoff Thomas- Chris Bart-Williams- John Pemberton. Plus some others who slip my memory. Playing for Weds was King Shirtcliffe/Pearson(is there some History with Shearer and Pearson as they seemed to be 'argy bargy?) Harkes/ Viradi/ Sterland/ Waddle/ Palmer/ Madden/ Worthington/ Turner/ V. Anderson. Walker came on at half time and scored, a first apparantly! wrighty missed chance after chance and took it out on the advertising boards a la Kets. It ended up about 8 - 4. Shearer played about 15 minutes and Lee played about 30.
