Priceline.com Being Investigated on Price Complaints

Priceline-dot-com is being investigated by the Connecticut State Attorney General.

The investigation was sparked after Attorney General Richard Blumenthal received more than 100 complaints about the "name your own price" Internet company. Most of the complaints stemmed from consumers who bought gasoline or airline tickets from Priceline.

Blumenthal says the customers who bought gasoline at a certain price complained after finding out that gas was not available at that price at participating gas stations.

Airline customers complained after buying tickets for trips on certain days, only to find out Priceline had restrictions on what days passengers could fly for those rates.
