Something from a photo doc project I did on athletes & actors a few years ago. I was trying to get away from the 'sports page' photos that I had been shooting for the sports page.

I like the feeling in it, and the light on her hands.

i think the image does a great job of capturing the urgency and confusion of competition. very nice work.

I alway thought this was the epitome of an out of control ego... but I tried to describe my thoughts verbally and just couldn't make it come out right, so I've done it visually... Andy, I hope you don't mind, I've done some work on your image. Please forgive me, it's a little sloppy, but just enough so that so you might get my idea. I don't know how you'd do this in a silver halide print... bleach, I guess. I really like the image... y
