Japan's major petroleum product wholesalers will hike wholesale prices from October by between 2.20 yen and 2.50 yen per liter in response to the rising cost of crude oil imports, according to press statements released by Wednesday. The wholesalers said the hikes will be the steepest of a series they have introduced since the spring of last year.
