other than white skin tones

Looking for hints/techniques for metering skin tones other than white. This is for B&W. thanks carol

Answers

I often meter Indian skin at Zone 5 and extend the development. Works great with men, and for 'psychological' portraits of women. Technical Pan also works great on non-caucasian skin. I don't know why, but yellow filter works great for 'Oriental" skin generally.
