Maybe you have to logged on to my Genie address. If so, tough! I'll try uploading them to tunnel-end tonight.

Nothing on IE - b***dy Micros**t! Tried the genie address and it wanted a login and password!
-- Anonymous, September 26, 2000
Sorry - I appeared to have "lost" them. Will try to get them back from cache.

All this, strangely, reminds me of the time we first got a colour telly. It had Ceefex and the Oracle. In those of course, you only had to remember a simple 3 digit number. One of the first films I got to see in colour was Jaws. It was the third time I'd seen it, so I was suprised to learn that that bloke's head was green.

Well, I failed. Now you'll never know what Sting was doing with his helmet. Sorry - send them again Min and I'll try again.

aye - nowt changes. always useless, always will be.I'm doing fine ta. Managed to catch a few of the highlights of the PL [Gazza's fine display v Leicester] and Man U v Chelsea. Otherwise it's been Olympics all the way - Hockey on primetime TV - it'd never happen on the BBC. Got an apt in Herne Bay in Auckland - not far from the beach. People v. friendly and nightlife hardly 'kicking' but very much alive. No woman [yet] but i'm working on it. an awesome lass behind the counter at the bank i went into today and just might have to go back to...; ))
Other plus points include being able to stumble home at 3am from a Saturday night out to connect to the web [totally free connex] and listen to the web broadcast. Downside is when we play live on a Sunday [Boro on the 18th?] it means getting up at 4am on a Monday morning - and i was never much good at that at the best of times. I also found Collingwood St. didn't much look like it was on the way to Blaydon though...; o )
Anyway, haven't heard from kiwi toon for a while [blame Gav] so unless there are other Kiwi's out there and contributing and know where to catch us on TV, i'll be listening to the webcasts with you lovely lads and lasses....
now, about these pictures....

Min lad, good to hear you've arrived safely. The Smoggies match is on a Monday night so you can just get up early instead of going to bed late. Send me the pix again and I'll see if I can reveal Sting's helmet.

Bah - I was trying to save humanity (well, this BBS anyway) from this. Now it's out in public (so to speak) I think it should be transferred to the "Life of Grime" thread. What an ugly bunch of 70$$#"s - almost as bad as those in Regent's Park.
-- Anonymous, September 27, 2000
What i'd like to know is how Sting got in that first picture TWICE - one with the helmet and again behind the copper's left shoulder...; )
