STE-CATHERINE, Que. (CP) -- A toxic gas leak Monday forced the evacuation of about 150 homes near an industrial park in this community on the South Shore of Montreal.
Nine employees who work for businesses located in the industrial park were taken to hospital in the afternoon. They complained of nausea, sore throats and breathing problems.
Provincial environment officials went to the scene but had no immediate word on the type of gas involved.
