For those that are using woodstoves, it would
be a good move to buy a little extra this year.
Dry, well seasoned wood creates less creosote
and gives you more BTUs than green. Less creosote
means less chance of fire.

If you have green wood you can cure it quick with
this method. Split to 2"-3" pieces. Stack in pairs
alternating 900 between stacks. This takes up a lot
of room but can season wood fast.

Make sure your flu is clean before the burning season
begins. If you live in Wyoming your too late.

Burn hot fires with the flu wide open. Use less wood
instead of the dampner for cooler fires. The dampner
can increase creosote build-up.
