I was wondering in the process of making a bread with preservatives like your run of the mill white bread. Is it common place to use formaldehyde, I believe I have heard this before, but have been told Im crazy...can you help me out...

Lynda, why would you want to make homemade bread with preservatives? That's the great thing about it, no preservatives. Homemade bread can be made and frozen for use later, or just freeze part of the loaf if it won't be eaten within a few days.
