Hello, Can anyone tell me what the correct resolution is for a pal vcd menu bitmap (the bitmap which is used as the menu still)? I've got some bitmaps at 704*576 and 352*288, which one is correct?

Also, the navigation points on my menus are NEVER in the correct place, I use CDMotion Prov7.2 for vcd to create my vcd's. The navigation point, always ends up in the bottom left hand side of the screen instead of the middle of the screen, weird! (When played back using PowerDVD 2.55)

If anyone can shed any light on these problems i'd be grateful.

Minimum size is 384x288(PAL) or 384x240(NTSC). Remember that your computer is square pixels and TV is rectangular.

In practise, you can practically use any size for your menu bitmap image as long as there is sufficient pixels for the image without the image being enlarged.

As to the second part of your query, I am not familiar with the s/w you're using.
