Does anyone seriously think that Al wont get 20 league goals this season? If we get to the latter stages of any cups ( and don'tforget he has been a major factor in us getting there) will we not be singing his name. Be aware Man U fucking despise him, after all they have won there last fanzine cover had a picture of Al and whinging twat on the front!!!

Sorry but, I have my doubts about the amount of goals that he will get. He will get a half a dozen penalties, but on current form will stuggle to get the other 14 to make the twenty.

Christ - he had a run like this DURING last season - between Everton at home and Spurs in the Cup, he didn't score one. The difference was that others were scoring so we didn't really notice. Dabs would score, Ferguson would score, Speed would score - the former is injured, the middle one's off being injured on someone else's money and the latter is too busy covering for the crapness of the rest of the midfield to go forward. So, let's get Shearer's lack of scoring form in prespective, eh? He'll score one and then the floodgates'll open.

The problem is that it is so apparent when Shearer is not scoring as the expectation on him is so great. He is watched throughout the game by more people and he hardly helps himself by demeanour when something doesn't go his way.

He'll come good when the midfield start dominating things.
