Can I hazzard a guess at who might, just might win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year this year.......my guess, with three months to go would be STEVE REDGRAVE he might even get a knoighthood!

Having seen "Going for Gold", the training endured by these guys 5hrs a day should be compulsive viewing for some of our pampered footballers, also their single mindness and mental toughness is a attribute to behold, For rowing to get most of us on the edge of our seats, has to be the story of the year, Arise Sir Steve , and hell give Matty Pinsent a gong as well,

Yer right Buff lad. These endurance athletes certainly put in the work. Built like sh*t house doors as well. ITK, they may as well close the book on Aunty's SPOTY. Anybody else would be a waste of space - unless Al scores 40 this season!!

Ha ha. Did I suggest Al might score 40 this season? More like 4 - if he's lucky.

Screacher.....it would be nice to see him score just ONE at the minute.

You'd better start giving the pig flying lessons ITK.

I was at the stadium last night watching Denise Lewis win gold in the Heptathlon - she's a good'un no doubt about it. The new Daley Thomson, but with a far more more impressive six-pack I tell you !!
