Goodbye for now friends [misc]

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I wanted to stop by and say goodbye. Everyone pray for us. We just found out that the land we are buying may have burned. We leave tomorrow. I'll be checking back into the forum before I leave. Have a great life until I get back. I'll be checking in as I get to a computer terminal. God Bless You All!

LFB! Well, the time has come and finally you're headin out to your new home. May Almighty God protect your family as you make this new move. "Be anxious for nothing"! As far as the burning--it could be that very little, if any, damage has been done to your new home. Keep all of us informed--including the hillbillys' too. Matt. 24:44

Wishing you the best!

-- Notforprint (Not@thekeyboard.com), September 22, 2000.

Good luck and remember that even if it is burnt, it is good for the soil, if not for the "upstairs" areas

-- Soni (thomkilroy@hotmail.com), September 22, 2000.

God Speed and you will be greatly missed! As Hoot said, Be anxious for nothing! It will all work out!

Little bit Farm,

Congratulations! Do you have friends or family here? (OK) I am within driving distance of where I think you are going. You said you would check the board before you leave. Check you e-mail too. I'm going to send you my phone number. If things are worse than you expect, call me. I'll help if I can.

-- Mona (jascamp@ipa.net), September 22, 2000.

Little Bit, my sister in Christ - you will be missed! I will be anxiously waiting for your return. You and your family are in our prayers. I too am going to email you. Have a safe trip and enjoy this special time! God Bless! Wendy

-- Wendy@GraceAcres (wjl7@hotmail.com), September 23, 2000.

Little Bit, have a safe trip, and do keep in touch. I hope your land got missed, but even if it burned, it should grow back fairly quickly -- and dead standing trees dry quickly and make good firewood! LOL!!! Just trying to look on the bright side! We'll miss you. God bless you and your family.

Thank you all for your good wishes. We unfortunately haven't finished cleaning, and probably won't get really gone until tomorrow. Otherwise everything is on schedule. Still don't know if our land actually burned, but I know that no matter what God will be with us. All of you keep this forum humming along, and don't forget how important freedom is both spiritually and politically. I am sure that Wendy and Joel will remind you on a regular basis for me. There are so many wonderful people on this board. Hoot, thank you for sharing yourself with my boy. We have a whole e-mail file devoted simply to you. I truly appreciate all the things I have learned from you and others on this board. Joel, I know the country is safe with you in it. This forum has convinced me there are far more positive things happening in America than there are negative things. The countryside forum is truly a place to get some perspective on America. Steve, Thank you for giving us all a place where free speech really means something. As the publishers of this great mag, all of you have not only exercised your first amendment rights, but allowed us to excerise them also. Thanks for not stepping in and stopping the free flow of information. I know it must have been difficult at times. JD, I think you are absolutely awesome! What you have done all of us is absolutely wonderful. I know that toward the end of your time at the mag, you were a bit discouraged, but baby steps my friend. Changing the world is a slow business. You have been the school for all of us, now give us a chance to go out there and really affect some change. You may see all those dreams come true yet. I really enjoyed your last year of publication, because I got to see that there are still people out there who still dream big dreams for our world. Y2k may have turned out to be a non-event, but It was worth it just for the positive effect it had on the world. Wendy, my soul sister, I'll be calling you soon. Doreen,I am still praying for you. Thanks for all your inciteful commentary. Everyone, go out and live your dreams. Make your own reality. The world is not static. It is a great big ball of change. Change your inner world(Christ), Change your community, Change the whole world.
