For whoever was enquiring (Bud Wiser?) about the whereabouts of Hexham's golden couple, I can report that they are doubtless still in bed sleeping off last night's hangovers. Some of us on the other hand have had to go to work. You know the score, hide from all human contact, put the phone on voicemail, dim the lights and pray for the day to go faster, never going to drink again etc etc.

Yep, Muzzainoz and myself caught up again last night with Tynedale Man, the lovely Sue, and some gangling bloke who must be their bodyguard as he's never far behind them ! Just kidding, Shaun's a canny lad - for a Hammer that is.

I don't think Rog has easy access to the net at present, so just to let all their fans know that they're both in fine fettle - maybe not this morning, but generally speaking - and seem to be very much enjoying their first week or two in the mayhem that is currently Sydney.

Their vocal chords also seem to be holding up, going by a plucky rendition of the Blaydon Races outside one pub we ended up in - after being denied access to the magnificent Heineken Holland Marquee for not having good enough Dutch accents, hats etc. A good crack was had by all though I think TM might have to change aftershave, judging by the 50 year old lush he attracted and then dumped on me to find a cab home for !! :o)

I'm sure they both say hi.
