Is that the biggest crowd tonight in Europe? I mean it was certainly the biggest in Britain. I have not seen the attendances in Leverkusen or Madrid yet but ours has got to be pushing it! Everton pulled in 25000 but y'knaa we shit on with ourselves aboot our crowds but 38000 for a second round, first leg Frank Worthington ,Pepsi cola cup routine aint bad !

Highest in Europe was Olympiakos (sp?) with 70,000. Arsenal had about 33500 but that might have been a home attendance capacity crowd.

Even better when compared with the crowds the other Premiership teams drew. Clubs who BELIEEEEEEEEVE themselves to be on a par with us as regards to size and fan base like Everton, Sunderland and Man City charged less than us and were still blown out of the water.

As for the sorry efforts at Southampton, Derby and Middlesbrough, I think Mickey Mouse is the phrase we're looking for.
