Announcing the CPRFreeY2K eGroup!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

If you're as tired of CPR as I am, just click here and apply to join the CPR Free Y2K discussion group. If you don't want to reveal your identity, you can create a member profile on eGroups and supply a Hotmail address. Of course, this means that CPR could theoretically join the group under an assumed name, but of course he would reveal himself immediately by his insane actions and would then be banned. On the other hand, if he discussed topics in a civil manner, who would mind? I certainly wouldn't.

It's true that eGroups doesn't have quite as nice a user interface as this board in some respects, but any advantage this board might have is negated by CPR's insane ranting. There are a lot of security features built into eGroups to prevent him from disrupting this new group, including cloaking of email addresses.

I hope to see you there.

WHAT AN HONOR. IMMORTALITY. I hope Dennis signs up right away and teaches you about "shapes". Be sure to let him use this as his "resume".

Why does hmm keep re-posting that cpr's article in all of these threads. It credits cpr as the writer, but then immediately below it, it says that hmm posted it. I will grant that cpr is quite an eccentric character, but there are many who hate him and are trying to make him look crazy. I doubt he is responsible for all of this madness.

If you use the "View Source" option in your browser, you will see that my posts are designed to clean up the HTML left behind by the person who reposted the article.

Seems like Hmm is going around and trying to fix the html brakedowns that CPR's doing with those cut/paste.

I'm trying to delete all of those cut/paste from CPR right now.

CPR, what you're doing is a DIRECT attack on MY forum with your disruptive html. I've granted you your request via email, now please YOU stop terrorising MY forum.

Thanks,

OTFR

I thought the alternate forum above was "competition" but then I checked and lo and behold: ONE MEMBER. (founder no doubt). Well, it does take time to build a "net community".
