Just to fill in the intellectuals who don't get The People on a Sunday, (I don't myself but a visiting relative left her copy behind), pages 1-3 of the aforementioned rag had an expose of the Manure Supremo, Martin Edwards, and his dalliances with a screw-and-tell tart.

Now what the man does in his spare time is absolutely no concern of mine and is a matter for his own conscience. As for the whore it seems she has broken one of the cardinal rules of her profession by exposing the name of a "client". It was odd that she spoke of Edwards deceit - that seemed very much a case of the kettle calling the frying pan etc.

However, what I did find obscene about the story is that the meetings took place in a #250,000 house owned by Edwards, and seemingly kept for the sole purpose of these liasons. Apparently, according to the slag, there are no ornaments, no food in the fridge and no clothes in the wardrobes. Personally, I find this disgusting considering that there are homeless people in the country, and others who keep huge empty houses solely for the purpose of entertaining prostitutes - or should that be vice versa. Vice versa? That's a good one eh? Geddit? Please yourselves.

It seems to me that rather than depleting the nation's housing stock, any self respecting football director would go to a place designed for such things and clear off to somewhere like Spain for the weekend...

Never saw it. Wre there any pictures? I can't read and only look at the pictures. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out compared with our own Fred and Doug story of a few years ago. I'd bet that #250K hoose that it doesn't cause such a fuss as the Dynamic Duo.
