Its 10pm and I am having a bit of an insomnia spell just as well the games is on through the night.

Mind the two bottles of wine I have had over the last few hours should help, mates mates leading me astray again! :o)

Hi Jay.

No work tomorrow then? I'm please to see you're not just wasting time - 2 bottle of wine seems a perfectly reasonable way to fruitfully occupy a few hours.

I'm still a but depressed with that bloody match yesterday!

Er a "bit" - not a "but"

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

Hey P

Yes I am at work tomorrow more's the pity have a nice presentation to do in the afternoon to a rather large companym wine = dutch courage and all that.

How are you mate? Apart from depressed from the result I thought we would turn them over this time :o(

Well apart from that I'm OK (better that Paula Yates anyway -I've just read about her - the veiled suggestion is, of course, a suicide).

I've been up 'til three the last couple of nights watching the Olympics. I was well P@ssed off with the triathlon yesterday. There's no such thing as a banker medal, especially over those distances. Still I hope there's a few more to be collected. I don'r know if I can manage another late night (it's not late nights I mind - it's early mornings following them). :o))

My problem is I don't seem to have a choice in the matter I have sky fitted so I can watch thw telly through the night :o(

Yeah I know what you mean Jay.

Mind just 'cos you have it doesn't mean you have to use it (As the actress said....) :o))

Just as well Skysports.com is 24 hour or I could go mad.! Well madder than usual!

You planning on going to any more away or home games?

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

Eventually Jay,

My contract finished and I haven't got another job yet so money's tight.

Keep your fingers crossed for an interview I've got coming up - but if I get the job I'll be moving abroad!

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

Best of luck to you.

Where are you planning on moving to?

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

Germany! - IF I get the job!

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you anyway :o)

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

Cheers Jay,

Anyway the interview's not 'til the week after next - A chap's flying over from the States (American company)to interview a couple of us - my first interview was 50 minutes on the phone from Texas!

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

Interviewed by phone eh? Well its different anyway! {:,)

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

To tell you the truth I had two interviews by phone (that was the second) from the states. The guy who's flying over actually told me he considers me the no 1 candidate for the job. My big fear is now that he'll take one look at me and say "No Thanks"! Oh well Que Sera Sera. :o))

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

Now you have to have faith.

I might be going for a new job soon to! :o)

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

Well good luck to you too!

I really want a job back in the North East, but can't find one (surprise surprise). I'm in for quite a lot of jobs at the minute, but they're in London, Coventry, Manchester etc. - and of course Germany).

What about you - fancy a move back home?

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

By all accounts it covers the whole of the North so I should would be travelling about, but I would use Hull as my base

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

Oh - Lorry driver eh? :o))

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

Is this a private conversation or can anyone join in?

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

Well I am going to log off and try to get some sleep....life would be so much better if I didn't have to work!

Take care mate :o)

Welcome aboard Rik!

(G'night Jay)

Rik,

Was that chat room your's - ie were the adverts yours?

I reckon the reason it kept reloading (and temporarily stopping the webcast) was the rotating adverts.

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

Welcome back again Jay!

I hope the queues have died down when you get to the garage.

-- Anonymous, September 17, 2000

Hey Pilgrim. If you're afraid he might turn you down (for the job) when he takes a look at you, I could always go along instead. You didn't really want to work in Germany, did you?
