This Makem has joined at work and we do quite a lot together, talking a bit of footy "atween whiles". It is normally my custom to say good luck to any footy colleagues on Friday (unless they are playing us). Anyway, I completely forgot myself and wished him good luck. He pointed out that there was no point in even speculating in our fortune as we'd lose as we always do at the Dell (QUERY: why do so many Makems know everything about NUFC? There are people on RTG who can tell you our attendances home and away back to about 1930). Anyway, can you forgive me? I have to take my place at the Dell tomorrow and need to be absolved. I WAS very busy and didn't really mean it...
