Heard a tale this week, an exclusive neighborhood, many houses sitting vacated, due to a corporate downsizing. Property may be going for much less than someone once paid. An experience for those, standing still, to listen.

Sir I do believe that you have "popped your cork". One would think that you would grow tired of your tyrades. Temper tantrums are so unbecoming an adult. Even if they are a "closet" Manic Depressives with delusions of granduer!

I seldom post here any more; not because there have not been "Y2K" failures ( for there have been). But because I have been so ill, as to preclude me wishing to contend with mental defectives. (In your case; it would be the equalivent of arguing with a ceder post).

As to your (on another posting thread) being able to predict future gasoline / diesel prices! Well old bean! They are going up! Big time this winter!

It will not be OPEC's fault entirely. The Saudis' have had; and still are having embed problems ( But to call their troubles by that name isn't PC). It will be, by their estimates, another 3-4 months before they can "boost" their production any further.. And what with it taking 50 days to ship the oil into american ports! Well! Old Boy! We are just naturally not going to see that increase in the gas stations' underground storage tanks before winter sits in!

But of course! Mexico can come to our rescue! With an extra 200K BBLs per day! Just a spit in the bucket! But it might help; if only we could depend on the pipe lines! Want to guess how many more ruptures we will have, by...Say March of 2001? Want to figure out how many embeds where turned back to 1995 date lines? And how many of them have self correcting sub-programs which will re-program their internal clocks to the real time. And how many of these little old thingys (embeds) are located in how many of the pump stations strung out through the wilds of the south west.

Californa just lost 1/8 of it's supply just out side of Carlesbad, N.M...The company now admits that the 30" pipe line had an "over pressure" event..Over Pressure? Now how do you suppose that that occured?

But at least they are building on to the refineries on the gulf coast. My son, who is working on them. Called and told me two nights back, that they where slated to go on over time from (can to can't) or in other words..They will be on seven days a week; twelve hours a day (then they'll get a little over time)..LOL..This is where you meet yourself leaving the job! As you are coming back into the gate to start work! NOW! If only the weather will co-operate! So far they have been rained out every other afternoon! No one wants to be up on a "cracker" when the lightening is dancing around!

Another little thingy I have noted..TPTB are all saying that they are going to have to divert some diesel refining to heating oil..(Just about all one has to do; to do that...Is just add in the color defining dye..Heating oil will burn in a deisel motor.

But don't let the facts confuse you old boy..They haven't so far! Or else you would not be listening to that small voice in the back of that small appendage you loosly refer to as a brain...

I realize that you probably won't listen to this, but I feel I must try anyway. CPR, you are not a hero who has saved the country from the menace of the "doomers". There never was such a menace. It is completely imaginary. You are a real estate salesman with no "special powers". You are completely unimportant except to yourself and your friends, if you have any.
