Through clenched teeth admittedly, but I have to say that we should have done exactly the same with ticket prices. #10 for kids is way over the top for the Orient game. Should have taken the chance to let the little beggars in for a quid. Does anyone know if Orient were offered such a pricing strategy - both sides have to agree on prices for a cup tie - perhaps they hoped to make more money this way rather than fill the ground.

Jacko, I agree. What an opportunity for loads of bairns to see SJP..

Jacko, I suppose it is possible that LO wanted a bigger cut of the money - they may well also fancy their chances better if playing in front of 20,000 rather than 50,000 Geordies.

However, I agree with your initial comments (also with clenched teeth!). Such a game is an ideal opportunity to give the bairns an opportunity to see The Lads. I suppose #16 isn't too bad, when compared to #25 for an EPL match.

#5 to see the makems? It's daylight robbery!

Madam Dougal......I refer my esteemed friend to my previous answer on this type of subject........curtains, closures etc!

ITK - you are mssing the point,. This isn't about SOS, it's about NUFC doing the right thing NOW. they have single price of #16 for adults and #10 for kids for the Worthingtom so what the corporates think is irrelevant in this case.

Dougal.....my point refered to buying tickets to go to Le Stade de Merde to see the Makems in the Worthless.......I would rather have my wisdom teeth pulled out without the aid of anast anest anist drugs than go there.

On a previous thread on a similar issue, I suggested that if the Makems were playing football in my front street I would pull the curtains.......

Yeah.... I caught one of them out on RTG the other day. I said something about their giving away about 10,000 tickets every week. One came back furious "Liar - it's only 3000". dOH..
