Nikon N90 DCS420 Tamron 28-200 S.E. Alaska
-- Micheal F. Kelly (radiant@gci.net), September 14, 2000
A very captivating image. It has a kind of surreal feel to it - kind of like the skin of a Jersey cow laid on the ground. Good seeing as "they" say.

This range somehow looks sinister to me - great mood capture in this. What was the film used (or is that DCS420?)

You caught a wonderful image. I was flying over Alaska last month but only got a glimpse thru the airplane window of these mountains. Looks like you got a lot closer.

Very nice. Reminds me of "Lord Of The Rings".What time of year was this?
-- Keith Clark (clarkphotography@spiritone.com), September 15, 2000.
Thanks for the comments. The DCS420 is a Nikon/Kodak digital camera hence no film. The time of year was this June. Shot from the air in a low flying small plane.

A plane?!Doh! And I had a mental image of you yelling "Mush" at a dog sled team. ;>
Niow if you'd said this was your back rad, I'd have been _really_ jealous. (laughing)
Cheers, Keith

Very nice. I like the foreground, but the digital artifacts in the background don't look so good. Probably from JPEG compression to meet size requirements, am I right?
