{OT - what's happened to Ra 1 & al-d, I wish they'd kiss & make up}

-- flora (***@__._), September 12, 2000.

Doesn't surprise me. Just wait. Those who are screaming loudest that global warming is a hoax, will also be screaming loudest for someone to DO SOMETHING! when their little fat bodies are melting.

RAtional, sure wish you would come back!

HELP, I'm melting!

-- (nemesis@awol.com), September 12, 2000.

No doubt. We're knee deep in our own shit, and it's rising fast.

Good article, glad to see someone is awake out there.

Check this out...

Another 10 or 15 years and the entire Southern Hemisphere will be virtually uninhabitable. If someone were plotting to kill off the populations of 3rd World countries this would be an easy way to do it without getting caught. These people live and work under the sun, and soon they will be dying from radiation before they reach adulthood.

There aren't to many people who live in Antarctica. The hole would really have to be a hell of a lot bigger before it gets to Aust. and NZ. Just wear a shirt and hat.

-- The Engineer (spcengineer@yahoo.com), September 12, 2000.

The position of the hole oscillates, not always directly centered over the pole. Skin cancer rates in Australia have been skyrocketing for many years. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see that it will cover half of the globe in 15 years.

-- denial (egyptian@river.not), September 12, 2000.

Yes, we human beings are so distructive that in a matter of thirty years we destroy the southern hemispere! Wow, that's powerful! The earth is, what, some 5 billion years old and it only take a few years to destroy. Maybe we need just a couple of meterors to set the earth back on to a natural course.

Sorry, I just can't buy any of this crap.

That's cuz you're dumb, and you can't see what is right in front of your eyes.

-- (maria@has.65.iq), September 13, 2000.

Maria, get this months E the Environmental Magazine and read it. The entire issue is devoted to global warming. Even the naysayers are recanting. Find out who is financing the naysayers. Come into the 21st century.

And in the opposite corner, we have...

The Toxicity of Environmentalism

Now, I don't necessarily subscribe to everything this guy says, but it's a very interesting read, to say the least. I would only suggest that the environmentalists make sure that their blood pressure medication is up to date and on hand before reading this. :)
