Erroneous frames number encoding VOB thru Flask and AVISynth

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

If I use Flask to Encode a VOB file, and use the AVISynth as the output, I get a very large frames number when I pass the output to any of the MPEG1/2 encoders (TMPGEnc, Panasonic, Cinema Craft). For example, instead of receiving 5900 frames for about 3 minutes movie, the encoder receives something like 300,000 frames, and the encoding process says it would take forever.

Anyone knows why?

Check out the output... you will probably find an error message "ipc audio alignment" I have never gotten the avisynth output to wotk quite right. It is very annoying.

Also remember that the flask time left reading is off because it start counting from the time you hit run, and not from when you start encoding.

If you find a fix for the avisynth problem let me know. It's worthless otherwise.
