Seems they have offered 15m pounds. But how can I can believe this when the Great British Press have repeatedly informed us that Shearer is no good/slow/finished/washed up - so how can he be worth this amount?

I'm a huge Shearer fan but if the figure is real, then I'd snap their hands off. 15 million, same as we paid, got 3 and a half plus from him and we could sign 2 good forwards and a good central midfielder and centre back for that.

I reckon no one is goin anywhere for any amount of money until this EU/EUFA/FIFA Transfer System farce is actually sorted one way or the other.

Can you really see anyone, Real included, paying #15m now for a player who could, if the transfer sytstem is abolished, simply walk away within 12 months, technically back to the selling club, at no cost......well it's one way of getting #15m for nowt I suppose.
