Geordies supporting teams other than the Toon

At the station, arriving from London, this mornong, there was a posse of Liverpool supporters getting the train to that game. They all had Geordie accents. This lot p...s me off as much as any Man United daytripper. How do Liverpool escape the criticism that Man United get? Furthermore, in the WHO at the station, you can buy THREE Makem fan rags and one Man united one. How many Toon ones? NONE. In Fenwicks, they have Spurs ones but no Toon ones.

Dougal, which station were these "Liverpool" fans at? Kings cross going to Liverpool?

Dougal, you sure those shops weren't just sold out of Toon stuff? I've bought Total Faith and the Mag in both in the past. Even got an extra Boxing Day programme a few days after the match at Fenwick's. I mean..how many people are really buying Mackem, NH and Spurs stuff in Toon? ;-)

Dougal: I can't believe it. It's not possible. With all that southern drawl in your ears you've been away too long and mistaken scouse for geordie.

It's about time someone pointed out the fact that Liverpool have almost as many glory hunters as Newton Heath. They have "fans" all over the place. Total wankers, the lot of them.

My best mate from Ashington supports Chelsea. Mind you, I think it was a fashion thing - he was the first at school in the late 70s/early 80s to get the ear-ring, pony-tail etc etc Other than him, there was one bloke in school who supported Manure. Don't know why, but he was the best at football in the school (if that means anything)

What!!!! not more myths being exposed on here surely :-)

I am talking about Newcastle Central Station which currently is stocking none of the official or fanzine Toon mags (The Mag or True Faith). And I'm sorry, if anything I loathe Liverpool daytrippers more than anyone. "Spot the Scouser on the Kop". It's a f...g disgrace to have our great ground and our great club and to have people supporting Liverpool. I also know someone from Blyth who supports Leeds. Disgrace, too.
